In natural gas distribution systems it might be necessary
to vary the line pressure in order to guarantee:
- distribution safety
- delivery to the users
- flow rate balance in distribution lines.
The LC21 is a system allowing the operator to vary, either remotely or locally, the regulated pressure value and the maximum flow rate deliverable by the station. This system allows to keep unchanged the setting difference set in all regulating appliances during the installation commissioning. The LC 21 series Remote Control unit can thus control an unlimited number of pilots and therefore there is no limitation to the number of regulators used. Installations using this system can then be made of several regulating lines with one or more pressure regulators each line. The system can also be applied on existing installations.
